I have worked with computers of all types for many years as a nurse educator – one of my most recent positions was running a nursing simulation lab with high fidelity mannikins. Early this fall I moved to a part-time position in the lab and have had one to two days off during the week. I have long wanted to start a blog and connect with women my own age – or more importantly, women working through both the successes and challenges of living in this complicated world. I love painting, not canvases, but walls in our home; of turning a find in a resale or antique store into a usable piece for my home; or learning about the mechanicals in my home I am faced with each day.

Back to the blog, I have managed to pick a domain name and set up the basics to begin blogging – but this is hard!!!! I know with persistence and patience I’ll figure out all the pieces, but if someone out there has some important new user tips I would appreciate it,
