Arriving in Rome

The flight to Rome was not terrible, in fact one of the better longer flights I’ve been on. I also managed to get an aisle seat at the last minute which made life alot easier for an older lady (which I am). Our tour was booked with Ciao Andiamo and a lovely woman named Alexandria met me right off the plane with yes a printed sign with my last name, so funny. She passed me on to a talented driver named Max that escorted me to our hotel in the city center. We are staying at the Antico Alberto Del Sole Al Pantheon for the next 4 days. While I am waiting for my room to be ready they were kind and offered me breakfast at the free breakfast buffet available every morning – meats, cheese, fruit, breads, eggs, etc. and very strong coffee (which is a benefit right now). More to follow!
