Both the Roman Forum and the Collesium were impressive, and reconnects history that all of us have heard during courses in high school, college courses and even popular movies like Pompeii.
The reconstruction efforts have been magnificent and they continue to find new treasures during current digs that are happening in real time.
We were in good hands with our tour guide, Katia – so knowledgeable and entertaining. She is putting together a new tour for the future which centers on scandalous events throughout history – I think she should offer a podcast so we can all follow along!
